Coolmax fibers introduction
CoolMax is a high performance fabric that can help athletic performance. It is a brand name of technical fabric developed in 1986 by Dupont and Invista which created using four channel polyester fibers. CoolMax can move moisture away from the body to the outer layer of fabric, where it dries faster than any other fabric. (In moisture management tests, garments made with CoolMax dried almost completely in 30 minutes compared to cotton, which remained wet by nearly 50 percent). Better evaporation means less energy is spent to cool the body’s temperature down, increasing performance and endurance. It is used in sportswear, socks, outdoor apparel and etc. The hosiery weaved by the mixed cotton and coolmax fibers keeps feet dry and comfortable especially for the outdoor sport socks and they can earn the coolmax brand hangtag.
